Well it's November again, and I'm participating in NaNoWriMo for my second year. The goal is to write 50,000 words of a novel starting November 1st and completing by November 30. Rewards are: kicking my inner critic in the butt when I win this year, and knowing that I CAN finish something for once.
It's nearly 11pm here and I've exceeded my optimal word count goal for the day (2000) at almost 2500. I will take it! I have a detailed outline this year and an overall feel for where I want to go with it. I think I really need the horse-blinders that this contest offers.
Day 1 complete. I am psyched!
